Aviva represents both employees and employers in cases including discrimination, wrongful termination, non-compete and non-solicitation provisions, wage and hour issues, and employment torts. She also counsels employers and employees on labor and employment matters, provides employee trainings, conducts investigations, and drafts handbooks and other policies and procedures.
Aviva also has experience in agriculture law, in which she has represented fruit packers in commercial litigation and suits under the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act (PACA).
Aviva's practice also includes intellectual property law, including trademark availability opinions, negotiating consent agreements, protecting trademarks from infringement and dilution and resolving internet domain name disputes.

Published decision: Nakata v. Blue Bird, 146 Wn. App. 267, 191 P.3d 900 (2008), the Court of Appeals, Division Three, upheld the trial court's ruling affirming an agricultural cooperative's Board's decisions about redeeming member equity shares.
